I just installed PCIII and had a custom map preprogrammed from Jamie for V&H true duals with Reinhart slip ons and SE a/c for my 08 SG. He did not have the EXACT map for this setup but told me the V&H slip ons would be the same as the Reinhart slip ons.
Everything installed fine but I need to reset the throttle position to zero. Only problem is that when I pulled the maps off the website for my setup, there are 3 different ones- classic, oval and basic slip ons and each has different numbers in the fuel tables. Jamie did not tell me which slip on was closest to the Reinhart slip ons I have. So.......is it ok to just pick any one of these 3 maps to do the zero position throttle setting? Or do I have to know EXACTLY which one it is? Thanks for any assistance! They are closed on weekends and it is TOO nice out not to ride today!

Stupid me. Custom map already installed. Now the question is.....when I reset the closed throttle position, it says it is below the recommended difference between closed and open. Is that ok? Or does it mean I MUST adjust the open postion as well to compensate? (Jamie said to just do the closed when I spoke to him). Sorry guys, I hate this computer chit (miss the ol' carbuerator days!).

To do it right you need the 9 volt adapter. Plug in USB, Plug in batterry, Turn bike to ON, Turn kill switch ON. Do not start bike. Set THrottle position. Reset, Set zero and then Cycle throttle to 100% Done.

Yep, worked for me.  0 throttle was sitting at 6%, clicked the mouse and set it to zero.

Note, that the engine must be warmed up to normal operating temperature before you set/check the 0% throttle position. Take it for a nice ride around town before you do it.

So some people are saying it should be warmed up others no. Is there a definitive answer?

Mine is much harder to connect to especially when the pipes are hot. They had to locate mine near bottom of the frame and I cannot imagine how I am going to put that USB cable in there after the pipes are hotter than heck.
