Have you ever bought something from an infomercial?
 

Have you ever bought something from a TV ad and felt ripped off? Have you ever bought something that lived up to its claims? A couple of years ago the wife bought a pressure cooker that was advertised on an infomercial. It didn’t come with a recipe book and we had a hard time figuring out how to use it without overcooking or undercooking food. It’s been sitting on a shelf in my basement for about a year now.

Bought a George Foreman grill which I had seen in infomercials, but only after I'd heard how good they are. (Mine is.) But, I bought it at a local store.

Those Hurcules Hook things you hang pictures with. Every single thing that is hanging on the walls of my house has one of those things behind it.

Bought a Jet Stream Oven back in the mid 90s. It worked like a charm, you could cook an entire meal in it in less than half the time it took in a real oven. But it was a real MF'er to clean. Dishwasher safe, my ass. Sold it in a garage sale for two bucks a few years back.

Knives. Sold them all and trippled my money! People are suckers for shiney sharp stuff (myself included).
