Rode down from VT to FL back in OCT 07, flew home left the bike there with the idea that I would fly down this winter and ride around to get away from the cold ass winter at home. Well just due to life and it's curveballs  I never made it back so this June I'm going down after the bike and I'm taking my sweet time coming home (I just might not go home,,but) I would like to come up through the states of AL, TN and KY and I hope no one shoots at me for having VT tags (I know I would) I would like some ideas of things to see or maybe some good roads, I know every crack on the Blue ridge and Skyway so I would like to do something different. Back roads are fine with me and so are highways, if you live in the south and have any ideas I would like to here them. Take care.

Where in Florida are you starting from? That will help with suggestions of directions to tell you where to go.

This is a little farther west, but you said you were going to take your time. Go to Natchez, MS and run the Natchez Trace will end in the north at Franklin,TN, just south of Nashville.
A few years ago we rode 219 through Virgina and I would do that again.
Hope you have a good ride.

What Tree Man says.....hit the Natchez Trace. Do a search here and get some spots to check out. I found a gps was good to have.....helped to find gas, hotels and food. We did a side trip to Memphis and the wife went to Graceland and then we headed to Beale Street.....
Whatever way you go have a great time...............................

I will have to try this Natchez Trace and I'm starting out in Hobe Sound, I'm going to go out to the lake (indian town) then head north working my way North West, I'm going far enough west to pick up AL state. Thank you for the ideas.
