Cartridge Style front forks, Lowering kit How much to install?
Hey guys, I'm in the middle of installing a lowering kit for the front of my 02 RoadKing classic, and I've run into a bit of a snag. I installed the right side with no problems at all, And I took apart the left side without a hitch but installing the new CARTRIDGE CONVERSION that came with the "Profile Lowering Kit" is a little over my head with the tools that I have. I'm probably gonna just bring the fork into the dealer tommorow and have them put it together and add the oil, Any of you guys have any clue as to how much this should cost me as the part is already off the bike?

Should not take them more then 1/2 hour to do this one leg. Ask them before you have them do the work and if they tell you more check with another dealer. I do my own, but I did ask one dealer what he would charge if I brought in both legs to havethem replace the seals and oil in both legs (same set up as yours - cartrage in one) and was told 1 hour.
