Changing out lifters on 2000 Ultra to a set of AMS lifters. 40k miles and set of 510 gear drives with SE adjustable pushrods. Questions are does it matter which direction oil holes are? 3 were out and 1 in when I removed the old lifters. Also should I soak these new lifters or just lube up and allow to fill on own. Have been told that setting preload dry will be more accurate. Planning on running .080 or 2 turns on pushrods. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mark

With new lifters & cams it won't matter how you orient the holes.
