Riding yesterday afternoon.... tach/ speedometer needles go to zero at 70 mph on highway, with check engine light and security system key lit up, but bike isn't missing a beat. Pulled over, shut down and checked the basics, all okay. Started it back up, everything's fine (at least from what I can see and hear), bike runs and sounds good with all instruments back to normal and nothing lit up. It's an 07 FLHTC with Fatcat's, ANBS and T-MAX. I used my laptop today to see if there were any indications of problems with the T-Max and nothing showed as an issue. Plan on getting that electrical manual now,(!) but does anybody recall something similar happening? Maybe some thing simple, but not sure. I searched some of the early posts and the diagnostic tips, that the best way to find out to what happended? Would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. John

Just an FYI for those that might have seen the post- spoke to Randy at Zipper's and was told that the 4.5 version of TMAX had a minor glitch that affected only a couple of users, of which I was evidently one. Pete sent me the 4.6 version, with the caveat the glitch wasn't a big issue. Downloaded it last night and installed, damn good customer service in both phone call and e-mails. Just a bad feeling when that kind of stuff happens, got a trip in June across the desert to CA/ Vegas and sure as hell didn't want that happening in the middle of bum **** Egypt!
