OK, trying to get my pic added, but it won't show, just a bunch of *stuff* where my pic is supposed to be.
Anybody help a guy out?
TIA,

you sure this
http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/mm162/poochtrm/?action=view¤t=824d7061.jpg this goes straight to photobuckets main page.

anyway what you do is go to your photobucket album and below the pic you wish to show is a link called direct link copy this
the go to your profile on this forum move down to signature and paste it in there
you will have to alter image in brackets at either end of the file because this site uses img lowercase between brackets ....and it should work

I don't know what happened there Grubby. I spotted some script on the end that doesn't belong there.

http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/mm162/poochtrm/?action=view¤t=824d7061.jpg

Should be

http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/mm162/poochtrm/824d7061.jpg

I just removed the ?action=view¤t=  part.

hk_shooter, please paste the following into your profile:

[*img]http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/mm162/poochtrm/824d7061.jpg[/img]

But remove that * from the first tag. Let me try it:

Obviously I'm brain-dead this morning. Pic is too large for profile - forum rules.

Here, I resized it. Please upload this to your photobucket account. Copy the "direct link" back into here and we'll help you.

Edit:  Well obviouxly if you want to try it, you just enclose the "direct link" between an
[img] and [/img] tag. No caps, and no spaces.

Howdy JBaker and Grubby.
First off, Thank You both for your help.
The pic looks good!!
Everything I was hoping for, except the 'too large' part.
I am obviously a lot more skilled at re-building V8 Chevy's and automatic weapons than computers.
JBaker, I must be a lot more brain dead then you, Sir...
I tried to right click on the pic, but the "open link" ,"open link in new tab", and "open link in new window" options are not highlighted.
I can not 'open' them. Is that what you're talking about?
And I'm unsure on how to re-size a PhotoBucket image.
I'm sure it's prolly something easy, but damned if I can figure it out.
I did 'take down' my huge image(I think, but it's still showing up here?), so as not to get the Mods on me.
I'm going crazy(er) trying to figure this out.

Damn I'm sorry grubby.
I apologize, Sir.
It was almost 0100 hours here, after a very, very long day.
I was obviously outta my mind, not to mention a bit frazzled
I thank You again for the help.
Between you ,JBaker and Mudpuddle I would not of ben able to pull it off.
Kudos, Gentelmen.(and if either/both of you are a woman, I'll apologize right now for the Gentelmen part).

I owe you , grubby and Mudpuddle all a beer.
