Status: offline 2008 Sportster Roadster 700 miles ....Did an oil and filter change last night. Engine check after oil change, oil light on, start engine light goes out. Turn engine off.Everything seems normal

Few minutes later, turn ignition on...no oil check light illuminating!.......Leave it for a few minutes, then light illuminates and goes off when engine starts as normal again.

Try again, no light showing!....come back in half an hour later, light will illuminate when ignition is turned on and starts as normal and goes out as normal.

Whats going on?....could it be something to do with air in the system?.....I drained some oil out of the plug after I filed the engine with oil as recommended.

Status: offline Played with a couple new Sportsters at the dealership today and they all do the same thing, so I guess its normal, just never noticed it before.
