Searched the forums on clutch adjustment, found a lot of good info, but no answer to my question:

On an '06 Road King, the service manual's procedure for clutch adjustment specifies that: After lightly seating the pushrod adjuster, back it off 1/2 to 1 full turn. What I don't understand is, where in that range do you shoot for?

Do you want to go min or max?
Or, do you want to shoot for the middle (3/4 turn)?

It's probably not that big a deal, but I tend to be really anal about stuff like this - I'm wayyy too left-brained.

Thanks in advance!

I usually back it off 27/52nds.......unless I'm living real dangerous then it's balls to the wall and I'll go all the way to 43/66ths...... ...j/k 1/2 turn is fine.
