Finished winter mods and started to take some pix today and batteries went dead.  Didn't get much of a selection to choose from but anyway, here's what I got. Also installed 11" Progressives and other things.

Thanks.  The first bike I ever got into chrome on.  Didn't intend to but adding one piece begs another.

Dang that's sharp. The chrome and vivid black really look great along with that stance. Really nice.

Hey 07 Streetbob, where did you get the black highway peg mounts?....or did you powdercoat the standard chrome ones?   Buy the way your bike looks good...here's mine.

There's so many ways to do the Bobs.  Yours looks great!

Like a dumb ar$se,  I bought the pieces individually for the FXDL.  Never again but as usual, I was in a hurry.

I don't think it's that bad of a job.  I had planned on doing it using former forum member "walterwindbag" How To he posted and the manual.  It's a 'take ur time' job.  I was picking up a part at the dealer and they offered me a great deal on installing it, so I let them have the fun.

Wrong!  The part # is: 61712-08  Screaming Eagle Dyna Dash with gasket.  Ignition Switch # 71313-96A.  Bought both from zanottimotor.com.  $196.27 for Dash & $67.60 for Switch.

Hey 07 check this out...I called the stealer and gave them the part# and they told me $300 WTF?????? The least they could do is use a little axle grease before they stick it to me, haha. I'll use Zanotti, thanks a lot!

Yeah, I knew that.  Even with 10% off, the dealer can't come close.

Simply beautiful.  So clean and simple.  Very nicely done.  If my bike didn't have such a "screaming" paint job, yours is how I'd like mine to look.  If you get a chance, I'd love to see a full side shot of that deuce rear wheel.  In that rear angle shot, it looks awesome.

Which model Corbin is that, and if you don't mind, how much did it run you and where?  I like the looks of that better than the HD Brawler I have for mine.

I think I have a pic of the wheel Jake, don't remember how good it is.  My photography skills suck.  I got the seat direct from Corbin.  It is the Hollywood Solo.  When I got it, it was $299.00 plus shipping with many choices of leather and colors.  Thanks for your compliments.  I feel the same what about your bike.

Great choice with the Corbin seat. I have a 2 up corbin and wouldn't change for anything.

That looks awesome. I love the look of a solid rear wheel and a spoke front. I almost did the same on my bike, but thought the custom wheels was the way to go.  The Sportster below is my old Ironhead. I had a Softail solid on the rear and thought it looked great.  Do you have  side shot from the other side of the bike that shows more of the wheel?

That's a great lookin Sportster!  I believe I have a pik of the other side but it is definitely not a good pik.  I'll slip it in here anyway.

Yeah, I love that Deuce wheel on your bike.  The chrome sets it off.  That Sportster was my last HD and it went through several transformations before I got her right.  I wish I still had that bike.

And I just checked Corbin's site...$359 for the Hollywood Solo...how did you get it for $299?

I initially ordered it 02/12/08 and at that time, they were $299.  They did have a note on their website that they would be going up another $60 in the near future, which they did about a month ago.  The first seat I received, about 3 wks after ordering, was a total piece of crap and I sent it right back.  Their customer service is almost non existent but I finally got the seat back about 3 weeks ago and it was PERFECT, as it should have been originally.  Here is a pic of the nose of the original seat.  That was the worst part of it.  Terrible piece of workmanship, square on the left side and just generally lousy.  Nothing like the one they returned to me.

I had two other Corbins, both for that Sportster, as a matter of fact, ther is a Hollywood Solo in the picture.  Great quality product, and very deceiving comfort wise..very comfortable for a slim seat.

Yeah, I'm happy with it.  I put 250 miles on it last Saturday with only one stop (for fuel) and I felt good.  Not bad for a 70+ rider.  My rear end just sets down in the seat like it was made for me.
