I have an 07 FXSTC, that I recently had the tank painted.  I got everything put back together and went to start her up and she leaks horribly from the QD on the bottom of the tank.  I tried everything, thinking there was some dust or something not letting it seat tightly and nothing worked.  Went to the stealer and they told me it was probably the part from the tant to the injectors and it would cost over $40 and wouldn't be in until Friday.  Has anybody else ran into this problem?  I would hate to have to drain and pull the tank again if it's the part of the QD that is on the tank.  There are o-rings in both halves but the stealer said they could not be replaced.

I recently replace the tins on my 07 with no problems.  Have you tried connecting and disconnecting several times?  Maybe it's not seating properly.  Also, shouldn't this be replaced at no charge to you under the warranty?
