Looks sweeeeet.

I guess lowering makes the pegs go down easu though, how do you find that? I have a stocker and I can't get over how easy the peg feelers (called em 'hero-blobs' on the spurtsbikes) go down! Bit scary but have to remind myself that the riding style of these things is a bit different to what I'm used to.

That Pipe is the best I have seen on the rocker .   I have the 2:2 BR's on my deuce but the 2:1 is the way to go on the rocker at least for me!

thanks guys glad everyone likes it it was hard to decide on what pipes i wanted to get so i just picked and went with it and to nickfear not really that bad in the turns doesn't hit the pegs much more than stock height just hits snubber a little more but i guess you have to take the good with the bad

08rocker...

did you have the work on your pipes done at a shop, or yourself?  Were there mods made to the engine to accomodate the new pipes.  Wanting new pipes, but a bit scared of them wanting to do mods to the engine.  Any advice?  Anyone.

Did you use the Haley Softail kit to lower, or another kit?
Tha Harley kit says it only lowers 1" total.
How much was yours lowered?

Part numbers would be appreciated.

Did you use Rocketman69 bracket with pipes ?

Like I've tried to tell some others:  My bracket only works with the 2 into 2 Big Radius pipes.  The Big Radius 2 into 1 pipes will bolt up using the bracket that comes with them without much of an issue.  Some people have had to bend the bracket slightly to take some stress off of the headpipes, but other than that, they fit ok.  It's different when dealing with two pipes, because you have to try to align them to have an even gap between two mounting surfaces....with the 2 into 1 pipes, that's not an issue.

The bike looks great, John.  Keep up the good work.

No issues.  Ride was great, got to see alot of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio countryside I would not normally have had the chance to see if I had taken the interstates.  Got very cold once we hit the Il-In border though, and didn't warm up until after I made it home.
