I am adding a lowering kit to my motorcycle and want to add a shorter than stock kickstand to compensate. Having never removed a OEM kickstand from a bike, I was wondering how hard and if any special tools are required? I am not a mechanic by any means, but not an idiot either...just want to know before I attempt it. Thanks

It's easy to do - remove the bolt on the top and remove the spring and it comes out.
