RE: Indianapolis rides from Chicago...Route suggestions please!!!
I would suggest going East on US 30 to 39 South. Turn right on 39, After the jog at US 10, about 4 miles is Kersting's HD. They have a small museum of bikes. Sort of an old time theme. From there continue South to US 14 turn right. Go to 421 South, then turn right to US 14 West, over I65 to the Dairy Farm for lunch/milkshake?? From there go back to 421 South and take it to Indy. A lot of rural less traveled highways. Wife and I rode up there last fall.

I would suggest not going to Indianapolis. If you want to go watch a bunch of Hondas, and nothing BUT Hondas, then go. I'd have more fun if I went in the opposite direction, though.
