Man.... what a trip...  We pulled out Thursday, Matt with his girl on his train and me solo on mine.  We stopped for gass on a 4 lane (2 each direction) to top off before heading to Mac's here in Charlotte to meet up with some folks.  After filling up Matt pulls out (no one in our lane for 1/4 of a mile) and I pull out behind him.  A van comes flying through the interesection in the other lane and changes lanes into me hitting my back with his mirror and my forward controls with his wheel cap.  The a$$ **** MF then drives off which is a good thing because I would have cut his ears off and stapled them over his eyes since he doesn't use them anyway.  I think they found the guy since about 15 cops went looking for him and they had a piece of his hub cap to check against whomever they pulled over.  I was able to keep the bike up and ride it to the beach but I am damn sure pissed at this point.

Ok, so that's Thursday....

Friday...

My tooth that I had a root canal on years ago started bothering me.  NO fun at all.  Took a 3 hour walk on the beach to decompress which was awesome!  Had an ok time that night thanks to alcohol.

Thursday.,..

Still more pain and now swelling...  This sux.  I'm pissed about the blood blister driving the van, my tooth hurts and I am NOT having fun.  Another long walk on the beach.. feeling better.  That night was even worse as the swelling is getting worse.

Sunday....

Bad.... just bad.  We go to breakfast and I can barely open my mouth to eat.  We ride home.  I go to the grocery store then I go to the ER.  They shoot me up with morphine which is the first time that I have had it and come to the painful realization that morphine has NO affect on me whatsoever.  No high, no pain relief, nothin....  They give me 6 shots in my gum and send me home telling me to come back in the AM.

Monday...

At the dentist getting a tooth pulled.  Great weekend, I reccomend it to everyone!

Well.. at least this weekend my boys and I are going to the 600 with our hot passes.  Can't wait for that.  Hope ya'll had a better weekend than I did.

MB

Thanks man.  Worse part is that meds have less affect on me than most.  They doubled up on the vicadin and it makes it tolerable but it still hurts.  They couldn't believe how much morphine they shot me up with and it did nothing.  To pul the tooth the doc came in 4 times each time emptying a surringe into the infected area.  He was laughing my jaw was so full of puss and drugs LOL.

Man I tell ya.. I really do.  I need a couple of hours of alone time now and again to decompress.  I wound up finding a pier in the distance so I walked to it.  ON the way back I saw another one in the oposite direction so I walked to it too.  Felt a little like forrest gump LOL

If you are ever in some place where you have a serious toothache, get a clove and put that ont he tooth which is hurting. Within seconds you will feel the pain go away!
We once made a trip when I got a serious serious SERIOUS tooth ache, enough to jump of a cliff. A guy gave me a clove which I kept on top of the bad tooth and the pain was gone, keep it in mind, it is an old remedy  which is cheap and works well (on me at least...)
Good luck!

Sorry to hear your trip didn’t work out as it should have, there’s always next year. I hate having tooth problems, hope it works out.
