I loaded the basic map to my buddies bike. Now how  do I tweak it to optimum preformance? How do i work the advance mode?

Start with a canned map from dynojet similar to the set-up of the bike. If the bike is running rich or lean pull up the compare maps feature of the software and compare the canned maps available to see which maybe a better fit. Once you get close you can alter the AFR numbers for your bike. Best way to do it would be with a Dyno and/or O2 sensor. But you could get close with seat of the pants dyno. BTW if you do the math it is about the same amount of dollars between your own wideband O2 sensor set-up and a single Dyno Run.

You need a dyno.

Load a base map similar to your build and then plug in your twin scan and WEGo and go for a ride and record the O2 Data. I believe the WEGo will create a percentage change table you would then apply to your PCIII MAP. It is in their Manual. Record different areas of your riding like free cruising and stop and go traffic and see what kind of data you get back.
