I had the opportunity to ride an 03 Night Train for a couple days.  Man that is an awesome bike.  Don't get me wrong, I love my Fatboy and my Shovel, but wouldn't it be great to have a Night Train built to the hilt.

I think that a Night Train will be the next set of wheels in the garage.  Would love to see some outrageous custom Night Trains, so let's see'm boys, give me some ideas.  What can you really do with one of these things

Well there are a few prime examples of hot Night Trains, Jeff T, what make are those forks.  Definately looks good.

I think the thing I like the most about a Train is it just opitimizes the badness in Harley.  Also, I loved the way the drag bars felt and forward controls.

Makes me think about what I could do with a Fatboy.  My shovel rides the same way, but the TC96 doesn't vibrate you to death.  I mean let's face it, when I pull in to bike night with that old thing, people spread out in fear.....I don't know if it's from the leak in the right side gas tank or the trail of oil .......  Oh back to the subject, I would like an awesome barhopper that's designed soley for the purpose of looking drawn out sleek and fast.

I just like for all the Train Drivers out there to know....The Train is a sweet ride.

Greetings,

I loved my Night Train. With the Stage 1 kit, Vance and Hines Short-Shot Staggered pipes, and Mustang Daytripper seat it was a lot of fun. If it wasn't for the Rocker C coming out I'd still be racking up the miles on my Train.

I can't remember what brand it is.  I bought it off ebay and had it powdercoated wrinkle black along with handlebars and forks.

Those are Storz Racing 55mm Blackout with Ceriani cartridge internals. About as close to a sport bike fork as there is for HD. They were actually on the bike when I bought it.

The secret:  For some stupid reason, this board's shitty software doesn't recognize [IMG] tags in capitol letters...change them to [img] and it works like a charm.

Unfortunately, you use ImageShack, and they suck-diddly-uck.....you have to use the "Direct Link" they give you, but put the [img] and [/img] tags around it, like this:

so go to photobucket.com and open a free account....you won't be disappointed.

I bought a 2007 Softail Custom Black and gave it the Nightrain look with the Drag Bar Kit and a two up Lepara saddle, billet round mirrors, round intake, round horn, carbon fiber upper dash inlay, Joker chrome lower dash, braided cables, twisted shifter linckage, red light brake and turn signal kit, Phython dual staggered exhaust, stage 1 kit, master cylinder brake chrome cover, chrome bolt cover kit. centerline pegs and grips, and lots of TLC living here on the east coast of Florida.

Just a few more pictures of the bike. I donated Pepe Le Pew for the 2007 Toys For Tots Run. The Shoei helmet is the old lady's. It goes well with the Black bike and pinstriping

Cool bike willyp, I'm still trying to figure out that rear fender/strut deal you have.

Anyway, as you can see the Trains can be very versital. Softails have many more after market parts on the market than other bikes. Mine rides very well, but had to change the bars and seat for comfort reasons. I don't think i'll ever get rid of mine barring a family emergency.

Big John,

Here's my 07...96 inch fuel injected with the 6 speed trans and the 200 rear tire.  I've wanted a harley since I was 8 and finally got one when I fell in love with the night train and watched it keep getting better for several years.  I've had it just over 13 months, bought it new and have about 8,500 miles on her...loved every one!  I plan to make her as blacked out as I can get over time but a little chrome here and there seems to catch the eye.  I kept the stock pipes and mufflers (just took the guts out of the mufflers; sounds great) and plan on having them powder coated black along with the front spoke rim and risers/bars.

Don't think you could go wrong with a train.

Ride on...

I can only imagine where you are, however, I will tell you this.  I haven't seen Bragg since 1991.  Moved down to Benning via 3rd Batt.  And it's been awhile since I painted a laser.  Would have retired last year.

Oh yeah,,,,,,PASS AND REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank God.
