Guys,
I have a 2008 Dyna Fat Bob. I am running a V&H Big Radius 2 into 1, Harley-Davidson Heavy Breather intake, and a V&H FUELPAK. My ECU calibration is stock. I followed V&H's instructions to the detail and I have rechecked and confirming my settings and throttle control readings in mode 22.
I am getting some popping when I downshift which I understand is pretty common with a large diameter collector and any fuel map controller. I can live with this, but it also feels like it is starving for fuel when I shift gears. It seems like it occurs right at the shift point. It also seems to have a lurch when I downshift to first - almost like it was starved and then got a rush of gas.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Does anyone know what might cause it and how to correct it?
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks Frank. I reprogrammed tonight and will give it a try in the morning. I called V&H and their Fuelpak teck offered to walk me throught the issue tomorrow as well. I will let you know how it works out.
Mike
