Newbie here saying Hi and wondering if this is a good deal for me?

Hey guys,

Im new here and was just wondering if you guys thought this was a good buy for me. Its a 2004 Fatboy with 997 miles on it. (yes less than 1000 miles) It has an orange and black paint scheme my boss says he paid extra for it? Anyways its pretty much stock except for some bags on the side. I used to drive sport bikes but havent riden a bike in 4 years. Thought this was a good deal plus I drive an suv every day and get killed on gas. This would be fun and it would pay for it self in the gas I would be saving. My boss wants $10,000 for it. He says he paid 19k new for it. Does that sound right? Any info would be muh appreciated!
Thanks
Martin

Welcome, and yeah, that's a great deal imho. I'd snap it up and I don't need a bike. Love those Fatboys - a popular Harley I believe.

The price new sounds about right with special paint and bags.

Good luck. Please take a motorcycle safety course while you're at it. Even experienced Harley riders usually learn something very worth while. Skills they show you might save your hide.

Stick around and you soon be nuts like most of us.

For a Fatboy with under 1k miles 10k is thebest deal you're likely to find

that's an unbelievable deal..

for some perspective.. A gal I met this weekend is selling her 2002 fatboy with 27,000 miles for $10,500.

buy your bosses bike immediately before he comes to his senses and raises the price!!
