OOOkay..  Here is my question, because after a couple hours of searching, I can't seem to find a post or response that answers my question.  I would like to put a wheel that matches the 16x3 wheel I have on the back of my Train, on the front.  Naturally, I would run a thinner tire, but I want to know if this can be done.  Is there any way of using the rear wheel on the front?  I have the 21 inch wheel on there now, and really want a 16.  I don't, however, want to change the forks.  I know that can be done.  But with spacers, etc..  can this be done?

THANK YOU!!!!!

I'd have to say "no". Probably the best thing to do is get a same-generation Fatboy front wheel. It won't be an exact match, but it will look similar once you paint the center. Or, replace both wheels w/ Fatboys, and you're done.

I've seen blacked out Fatboy front wheels on ebay. You can also pick up a FB front wheel for next to nothing on ebay, nobody wants just a front. So for less than $50 and whatever it would cost to powder coat to match. You'll need to change out your fender also.

I got my fatboy front wheel on ebay for @ $70-$80 shipped. Of course then I had eight 1 1/2" holes bored in it, and had the outer rim with the little simulated rivets machined off. Then I powdercoated the center to try and match my rear.

The rear on the 05 and back looks just like a Fatboy except its black. Your project would be much easier, just get the Fatboy front wheel and get the center and rivet holes powdercoated black.

HEY! You guys are awesome!  I can't believe I had so many responses in one day!  So can any one of you tell me how involved the process is changing out the wheels?  Is the only issue a spacing issue?  The guys at the harley shop haven't been any help on this matter, and it's hard to get answers from guys at custom shops, because they want to do the work...  I am kind of a do it yourself'er and like working on my bike.....  I have seen other posts on here, but maybe since you guys have trains, then you might have a little more insight on this matter.......
