Well I know that this look is not for everyone, but I like it....

Been busy in the garage, added Mini Apes, Progressive 440's 13.5" (yes I know it not slammed anymore, but with my butt on it, it slammed), Progressive Fork Springs, Super Brace, BT horn kit, powder coated headlight trim, Black SE slip-ons, painted heat shields, black rocker box covers, and a few other assorted goodies... I really like the ride and the handling, more ground clearance has made the turns more fun....

Looks awesome! How'd ya paint the heat shields? I've been planning on getting the black pipes, but couldn't find black shields so I figured I'd have to do it. Also, where's the horn kit from? Nice job!

Thanks... The bags are Willie & Max braided compact slants..

For the heat shields I sanded the crap out of the heat shields, and then rattled them with Krylon BBQ paint, turned out good... Time will tell, worst case I will take fifteen minutes and hit them again.

The Horn was a splurge from the Harley custom shop...

Looks good.  How do you like the apes vs. the stock bars??  I really want to get apes put on mine when I get it, but just can't stand the sight of the silver cables all over the place.

Also, is it just the lighting, or is the left engine case still gray while the right one is black???

I really like the position with the apes and the forward controls, personally I like to sit up with my legs out... The silver cables work for me due to the silver paint, but black ones can be had I just figured most are going black, so why not be different... The lighting is playing tricks along with the black pipes, both cases are still gray...
