Hi All, First post to this forum, did a search but did not find exactly what I was looking for--I own an 07 Dyna Lowrider and just bought PCIII, Rush slashdowns with 2" baffle and SE air kit (Fuel Moto). Was wondering if anyone could give me some install tips (first non cosmetic changes and not a pro with the wrenches). I have heard installing the PCIII was relatively straight forward but wondered if there were any tricks or gotchas that would save me some headaches (like, make sure you have black tie wraps handy, or watch how you remount to the ECM, wire runs etc). I have heard some good things about this setup so thought I would give it a go. Thoughts? Thanks Dave

YOU'LL DO JUST FINE... it is pretty straight forward. i did not mount mine like the directions from powercommander, under ECM. i placed mine veritacly between the battery and the ECM. use some zip ties for the orignal ecm plug and the plug that goes into the PCIII. route it in front of the battery and ECM area... tie it off so it dont get close the the back cylinder. just take your time. use dielectric grease on all Plugs so water dont mess something up. if you cant get your pcIII in where you can pull it out and plug in your USB cord you way want to plug in the USB and leave it coiled under the seat. ummm... it should only take you 30 minutes at max... just watch your hands to be sure you dont unplug something accidently.

you made a great choice and you wont have any problems, the bike will run great but fitting the PCIII is a different story, i did some mods and placed mine flat under the seat, its easy enough and makes hooking up to the laptop easy. can mail you pix if you pm me...
