I need a pistol that fits these requirements for a security job i was hired for. Concealment is not required for the job
-Semi auto
-No single action only
-Must be Double action Only
-No external safety or decocking lever
-over all gun length 6 inches minimum 8 inches maximum
9mm, .40 Cal, .357 Sig, 45 acp\gap

Help me find some pistols that fill the bill, the guys at the local gun center are morons and i am in information overload from lookin at all the manufactures websites.

Maybe ask your "employer" what gun they want you to use? (AND HAVE THEM SUPPLY IT).
Why such specifications?
Seems like you are stuck using what ever the other employees are carrying.......pretty much.

Price aint a big deal but would like to keep it reasonable $400 to $600 , but i aint afraid to pay more for quality
As far as the company goes , we can use their weapons, SW revolvers, decent guns but i want to carry an auto , that is mine ant that i can practice and feel comfortable with.

If concealment will ever become an object then get the Kahr P40. they are small, light, easy to conceal, made in the USA, and of very high quality.

If concealment is really no object, then you might look into the Springfield XD. My son just got one of these and they are nice pistols for the money. Though I am no real fan of the S&W autos, the M&P seems like a pretty good gun.I am also no fan of the Glock, but they would definately fill the bill that you are looking for.
