Went out the other day for a ride. Got to my destination and did the normal routine. Checking all the bag locks.

As you have it the right hand bag latch was locked but the hing just allowed it to come all the way up in an unusual way! The I noticed a couple bits falling out. I realized that they just came off the back of the lock assy.

Had to break out tools and reassemble and tighten upagain. Noticed not a tiny bit of any lock tight on the nut to hold everything together.

Got home and took care of both bags.

Do not need them falling off going down the road and then not having any locking for my bags.

May want to give yours a check?

I already did the fix.
Rode to work one day then had to stop at a store.Went to lock the bags and one would not lock.Noticed the nut and tab was missing.
I rode to work the next day and found the missing hardware on the ground where I park.
