Default new wheels for 2004 FLSTC

I am looking for new wheels for my heritage. I want to run tubeless tires in order to use a patch kit, when, not if, needed. I am also looking to reduce the unsprung weight of the wheels, tires, rotors, etc.
My first choice would be forged wheels, but I am unsure of the weight of the different types of wheels: forged, cast and spokes. My understanding is that spoked wheels were used because of the reduced weight necessary.
I have written to several wheel companies, with no usable info.

Any wheel experts here?

Thanks,
