I switched to Metzler ME880's, and then you can purchase your tires from somewhere other than a Harley dealer. That will save you a bunch, some on the tire, and some on the installation.

I've bought from these guys the last couple times and haven't found anyone cheaper...$5 a tire to ship, takes 3 to 4 days depending on where you live.

Here are a couple of pretty inexpensive sites as well. I switched to ME880's on my '06 FXST and had great luck getting tires quickly and for a good price. http://www.tiresunlimited.com/motorcycle_tires.htm http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/tires.asp I was back and forth between the two sites, as they had different prices for the different tires depending on the size and brand you are looking for.
