looks like a rigged speedo to me, the street lines do not appear to be moving past him as fast as they should be for the speed he is going....or maybe it is an illusion, but I am sceptical.
yeah, the MPH is the large ring in the speedo. The KPH are in the small, inner ring. 11k rpm in top gear. However generous the speedo, that's more than twice as fast as I wanna go on a public road!

I live in Ft. Lauderdale & over 220 mph is difficult. This does not mean it is impossible. We have rt 27 to the west & we loose anywhere 1-3 riders/month. It does not make the news any more. Now we have a law that they will impound your bike over 50mph/over. You will see the police blocking off the exits & grabbing them soon. An uncontrolled roadway is no place to exceed the speed limit that fast as too many things can happen & they happen fast @ that speed. I like speed but not in an uncontrolled environment. A twin Turob Busa will do 220 mph.
Didn't look real to me - speedo must have been rigged or was reading KPH. If factory tuned Moto GP bikeridden by Rossi struggles to get much over 200 mph I would seriously question the average Joe's ability to have a tune street bike do that kind of speed, let alone his capability of making it do so.
