We brought this bike brand new and pulled it into the shop and tore her down...only 75 miles on the clock right now. Used only the best of everything on it. The stiffer suspension makes it one of the best handling Harley's I've been on since the great FXR.

Let me know what ya think!!!

The Fairing is a HD part. It's made for sportsters and pre 06 dynas but can be made to work on the newer bikes with a little ingenuity.
You can find it on the HD website or there's usually a few floating around on Ebay.

What is involved in making it fit, are we just talking minor trimming of some sore on the fairing it self?

Chili, the fairing is made for the narrowglide front ends with "eyebrow" mounted headlight. It attaches to the "eyebrow" on those bikes. to make it work on the new 49mm front ends...take the brackets for universal mount foot pegs and mount them to the risers. This actually takes the place of the "eyebrow" and you can mount the fairing to the peg stand offs.

I like everything except the bars.At 13" why not just run mini apes it seems like they'd put the grips in about the same position. But hey, to each his own the rest of the bike looks great.

It ain't about the flow or the look...it's about the handling. Apes just don't give the same feel as drags. I was the same way when I first started building bikes. But, the more you ride and ride HARD and FAST, the more you learn to appreciated these taller T bars. I was turned on to this by 1%ers that put a lot of miles on and ride the hell outta their bikes. All of this is only MY preference. Not being a dick, only stating what I've learned over the years and what I prefer. Personally, I don't like apes, chrome and run of the mill mods that everyone else has. But again, that's my preference. We build mostly dynas and specialize in making them handle as best as possible. And when building a bike and thinking about the "flow" of it, you need to make the rider rider part of that "flow." How many times have you seen a bike that looks amazing parked, but then when the rider gets on it, it looks all of context. I'm 6'1 and 250lbs. so short rise bars don't cut it for me. These bars aren't even available on the market. The tallest available from the after market are 10". I ran those on my last dyna and wanted more. These are able to give me a "tucked in" feel when combined with the mids. Ok, enough rambling about handle bars, right?
The main thing is, we all love our scoots and ride the hell out of em! They aren't made just to look at, they're made to ride!!!Mr.Moto, I'll try and get a few pics for ya soon!
