Default passenger back rest alteration

The removable passenger back rest on my '08 EG leans too far forward. I was wondering if anyone has increased the depth of the slot for the rear mount and moved the cam lock the appropriate distance up. This wouldn't move it back, but would give it a little more rear lean.

You can take a boy out of Festus, but you can't take Festus out of the boy.

I asked the same question, only in reverse... I didn't get any response.

Seems like there might be a small market niche for an adjustable passenger backrest.... something that would fit in to stock backrest bracket and have maybe three or four settings to adjust the angle.

If I were a machinist, I'd be on my way already.

I thought that I might get some bites and ideas to my post, but obviously not that many people care about these sort of things. My wife thinks that the backrest is OK like it is, but I know that she would like it better if it was moved back an inch or so. I thought that the tilt back would help some and would be a more comfortable angle anyway. If you ever hear of an adjustable, let me know. I think that I might take my backrest to a machineshop and get some input. It's worth a try.
