I am a first time harley owner, I just bought an 08 street bob and I was wondering if it is possible to take the baffles out of my pipes and cut a 45 on them or will that mess everything up with the fuel injection, I am realize it need to improve the breathing of the motor but 600 for exhaust is not in the budget this year. I cuold use all the input from you guys.tips, tricks ,ect. thanks zuel

Default RE: pipes??

Heard of people on here drilling a hole or two in the end of the stock baffle. If you would like a temporary fix on the exhaust try some slipon mufflers. Lots of manufacturers. Cycle Shack is the cheapest and good quality I hear. I got the Vance & Hines slipons with the quiet baffles for a little more money but I'm not looking to change any time soon.
