I just got my '98 Fatboy back from a 30k service. I have real good Indy that does my work here in this area. When I got it back and went over the work and the parts list I found he replaced my used plugs with new Autolite's. I know some people use them in their bikes this is a first time for me. Personally I don't use them in any of cars, and really don't like them. Anyone have any info on how good they are in Harleys.

The Indy shop that did the top end on mine used Autolite 4265 as well. In our area Advance auto sells them two in a pack, usually easy to find on display. They are cheap enough to change every couple thousand miles. They seem to work as good as the Champions or Harley that is also made by Champion.
I had a plug foul in Mytrle beach. So I went to wally world to get rn12yc's and they didnt have them. but, they had the autolights. seems to run ok with them. but I think for carma Im gonna put Champion's back in. maybe becuse they used to be made here in Toledo Ohio???
Ran a pair in mine for 25,000 miles and pulled them out and put them in a Shovelhead that was fouled to get him home- ran fine and put them back in mine for another 8000 miles.
I have been having spark plug problems for a few months now. Seems the rear cylinder beats the **** out of them. Ive changed the plug wires to 8MM accels and put on a new coil. But its still killing plugs. I rode my bike into town last night to the Ribfest and we where gonna rip up the town after eating our fill of ribs. Made it a couple blocks and damned if the rear plug stopped firing.
Go figure I didn't have a new set on me and the stores where closed. Bike is still in town at a buddy's old lady's. Any Ideas as to how to fix this gremlin will have this jocky sporting a **** eatin' grin.

What are some specifics about your bike? Actual compression in front and rear cylinders (comparison), FI or carb, color of the front and rear plugs (comparison) after the rear fails, single or dual fire ignition, year of engine, miles on engine...you know, stuff like that.
Black as spades. Turned out I had a small manifold leak. She will be going in on monday morning to be rejetted. Sorry I didn't give you much to work with. I couldn't ride so we cuddled up with a case of beer.
