harley davidson won't warranty my work
they got the turn signals working and the break lights said some water might have got in the fuse box, well no **** i ride in the rain and the bike gets washed[:@]
when i bought the bike on april 26th of last year i had them put a turn sinnal relocation kit among other things so i could use a detachable backrest when riding two up, the kit i ordered from the parts guy was the one that moved the turn signals to a bar that sits acrocc the break light on the rear fender
what i got was the rubber grommets that move the signals out about an inch from the fender so the backrest brackets can lock over them the part i ordered was backordered from china for six months or whatever
a couple of monthe after this about june i was sitting at a stoplight and noticed the left rear turn signal was pointed at the ground i got it home and discovered you could turn the signal arond in circles and it wont tighten up, but i want to keep riding so a little electricians tape did the trick,
now they are saying i broke it, when it was never installed right in thr first place[:@]my fault for not notifying them right away i guess but you know you just want to keep on riding
anyway now a harley tech could put a new stem on it and charge me 175.00 dollars for it, but the lady at the parts counter said look hon i'll give you the part number but we can't put it back on for you, so now i am at 75.00 dollars to pick up my bike with three working turn signals a working brake light and horn but a turn signal and stem just stuffed off in my saddle bag, for me to deal with own my own, which i will
but screw harley and there warranty, its all bull**** anybody preparing to by a bike be warned they will treat you like the king of england while your signing the papers , but treat you like dirt when something goes wrong with your ride,
