This is kinda a feeler post, I LOVE the bike but could use the money right now so I just figured I'd see.

This is a 2003 Craftech frame that is identical to a harley softail frame in every way. The bike was assembeld by wilwertz HD in Debuque (SP) Iowa with 100% Harley parts all the way down to the fasteners. It was assembled with a brand new TC88B from harley. I recently did quite a bit of stuff to it this winter so here's a run down.

-Vance & Hines short shots staggered
-Brand new candy orange paint
-New chromeboards, grips, switches, shifters, pegs
-New wheels RC components sherriff and pulley (rear is still on order should have it in a few weeks)
-New Danny Grey solo seat (Also stock seat in pics)
-alot of other little things like plate bracket etc.

It has a chrome swingarm, oil line naccelle and the whole primary is chrome not just a cover, chrome lower fork legs. Also has SE A/C kit.There's other things that are escaping me right now but if you're interested we can talk. It has 4,700 miles, runs and rides awesome. Asking $14,500 OBO. PM or email me ryan63duece@yahoo.com

Me thinks it's not really a Harley. Is it titled as such?

It's titled as "assembled" due to the actual frame not being Harley but like I said every thing all the way down to the wiring harness and nuts and bolts ARE Harley. I understand there're purists that will say it's not really a Harley and that's fine but it's no different than an assembled chopper with an aftermarket frame. The bottom line is other than the frame itself and the few aftermarket items like pipes and such it's all Harley parts.

Very nice color. Question, why not just buy a Harley instead of buying the assembled bike? Better price or what?

I had a 63 chevy II drag car (not street legal at all) I was trying to sell last summer. The market for cars like that is so slim you practically have to give them away. I had 18-19K in it and after a looooong time for sale this guy offered this for trade so I went ahead and did it. At least if it takes a while to sell this I can enjoy it it the mean time where racing the car was at least a 200 dollar trip each time. Now with gas even higher I bet it would be 50 bucks more to race this summer. So I know I'll have a tougher time with this than a "real" Harley but that's OK.

I nearly bought one of these assembled bikes a few months ago but the insurance was KILLER !!!!!!!!!!! They wanted nearly 3 times as much than to cover a Harley. Didn't make sense to me, but I'm not the insurance company.
Sharp bike, good luck !

I pay 40 bucks a month from state farm for full coverage with low deductibles and 30K in extra medical.&nbsp\\; I was kinda surprised as I thought that wasn't too bad of a price.&nbsp\\;
