Default Glock Model 30 What do you think of it?

I am thinking about buying a Glock Model 30 for my primary CCW. I like the size and that it carries 10 .45 Cal bullets in the mag.

How is the accuracy of the .45 Cal Glock 30? What other things that are positive and negative could you share with me?

This will be my 1st .45 Cal gun I have purchased.

Thanks

Good call on caliber. One thing I might suggest is for you to go to the range and try to rent other guns as well as the Glock. You might find that one is more accurate in your hand than another. Thats why I chose the XD. It just fit me better and I found that I could be more spot on with it.

Glock makes a fine .45 caliber handgun. I carry a Glock 21 .45 cal on duty everyday and have shot the model 30 plenty and they both fire great. In my opinion some of the sweetest shooting glocks. The 30 is a little bulky for smaller hands, but thats not an issue with me. A plus is that you can use a glock 21 13 rnd mag in the gun at the range or for a backup.

Glock 30 is a nice weapon. It isthe double stack, so the grip is a little wide.
When I am able dress enough to conceal, it is what I carry.
I live in Florida....so T-shirts are a staple. When I where a half way decent shirt on the outside of my pants.....the Glock goes with me.
Otherwise, a Derringer in the pocket.

Thanks guys for your input. I bought a XD Compact Springfield a few weeks ago but I wanted a little smaller for CC in the car. The XD Sub-compact was a bit smaller than I wanted. The Glock 30 .45 cal with a 3.75 inch barrel fit my size wants and I am sure it will fit my accuracywishes also. I have not been able to fire it yet but it feels great in my hands. Thanks again.

I had always carried and owned .45 caliber pistols.&nbsp\\; It was a huge thing for me to buy a Glock instead of another 1911.&nbsp\\; A model 21 Glock was my first non-1911, and I love my Glocks.&nbsp\\; I still have a few 1911's around, but then I also have some old, faded USMC cammo too!&nbsp\\; My first ever non- .45 was purchsed the day after I discovered&nbsp\\; that the .40 caliber Glocks have 20 round magazines available.&nbsp\\; Since then, I carry a .40 caliber Glock and two 29 round spare magazines as my conceled rig.
