First off I apologize if this seems to be stupid ...
The KOA and Atlas maps I have are sorely lacking & I need to know if I fill up the 4.5 gallon gas tank in Blanding, take 95 to 24 to 12 with Cannonville in my sights, if there are any stretches of road I need to worry about as far as making it to the next gas station. On these maps - there does not appear to be a whole lot in the way of towns in some areas, and I didn't know if I needed to make room for a small container of gasoline to get me to the next station.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice on this run.
~Amzie
You can fill up in Hanksville (95 & 24 junction) which is 125 miles from Blanding and in Torrey (24 & 12 junction) which is 175 miles from Blanding.

Thanks dr ... I have my route planned right thru there - I was just worried that the stations might be spaced a bit far apart.
I still might take a small container with me for the rest of the trip after Torrey ... will have to see how good my mpg is - being packed down and all.
Thanks!!
I will be doing that route in reverse.... and then some. Planning on end stop of the day being the KOA outside of Bryce Canyon.
How long did it take you - hour wise?
Dude that run is fun! if you going this week its going to be about a 100* \\; Bryce is sweet! I usually am coming from the other side but i think its about a four and a half hour rip from Blanding to Bryce... I think?
I will be traveling from Brigham City, Utah down into Salt Lake into Sandy/Provo/Spanish Forks/Price into Green River. \\; I assume that I can make that in one day is that correct?
 \\;
Are there any road situations that I need to be aware of?
 \\;
Do I need to worry about getting gas along the way from Spanish Forks into Price down into Green River?
 \\;
Are there any good things to see along the way from Brigham City to Green River?
 \\;
Any other information that you would like to share would be great...............................Struens
Struens - You can make it in one day easily, it's about 240 miles. \\; If you fill up in Spanish Fork it's about 130 miles to Green River, you can also fill up in Price if needed. \\; As far as things to see on your way, your going to be on I-15 until Spanish Fork, nothing to see here, all city. \\; Once onto Hwy 6 you'll be going through the mountains but that is it. \\; No landmarks or scenic byways.
Here is a link to check the road conditions, looks like you could experience some delays on Hwy 6.

drfeelgood,
 \\;
Thanks for the information from Brigham City to Green River. \\; When you say mountains, what can I expect there in the way of roads? \\; In Colorado there are some minor passes and some major passes like Wolf Creek, Red Mountain, Coalbank, etc. \\; Which have a lot of curves and slow riding. \\; In addition, there is a lot of wildlife to watch out for which slows you down even more..........................Struens
Struens - No slow riding, no tight curves, If I remember correctly the speed limit is 55. \\; And yes, there will be a possibility of wildlife so keep your eyes open. \\;
