Is there such thing in the US as CCW for SMG´s??? How does the restriction applies, is it for capacity? for full auto??? I´m sorry I know it sounds crazy (stupid) but I´m not familiar with your laws, I know they change from state to state but generally It came to mind that regarding full auto´s it is prolly a federal law which applies...
Mimo.

Not really sure, Mimo.
I would guess with the correct paperwork to own a ClassIII(full auto) weapon AND the CCW, there should be no problems(but I'm no lawyer and have not atayed in a Holoday Inn Express in a while).
I do know I can carry my Mini Uzior Bushmaster Carbon 15 Pistol with my CPL (Concealed Pistol License), as they are both registered as 'handguns'....
Before you ask, I have shoulder carry rigs for both, that work quite well.....
In the cooler weather, where I can wear a slightly bulky jacket, I can get by virtually un-noticed.
Are you kidding me? SOunds like a sure fire way to get a big dollar class 3 weapon taken away, if noticed by John E Law. And god help you if you actually used it on someone...........they would rake you over the coals in court for decades. I have a class 3 MP5, and as nice as it would be to keep in the SUV during trips with the family, I just wont chance it. If anything else, Ill just carry a few extra Hi-caps for my USP, but to carry an SMG is just asking for it. And unless your wearing a snowmobile suit, there is no way your going to carry that thing concealed without somebody taking notice. Just some friendly advise, dont do it.

I can assure you that even a justifiable shooting with a revolver or semi-auto can cost you a small fortune in legal fees and time lost. If a person with a CCW carrying a submachine pistol stitched someone with a five round burst it would mean far more problems for them.
I may of been wrongly interpeted.
The weapons I was speaking of are not Class III.
They are S/A only.
Sorry for the confusion, Gentelmen.
I was just trying to answer Mimo's question.
About being able to carry, not of how a jury would rule on it.
And believe it or not, the Uzi with a 20 round magazine(as opposed to the 32 rounder)and the Carbon 15 with the old GI(20 round) mag are more concealable than it would seem.
Remember when Reagan was shot and the SS Agent came up withan Uzi,seemingly out of thin air?
And that was a larger model (with the fold up stock)then the pistol/Micro model I was refering to.
Almost any winter jacket will cover them up quite nicely.
The AR is a little larger, but still possible.
Believe it or not....
