Default clutch cable

I've got what appears to be gear oil coming out of my clutch cable at the handle, anybody seen this and what causes it? 07 fxsts

Somebody got a little wild with the cable lube? You mean oil is dripping off at the clutch lever right? If you over oil the cable from the lever when you are adjusting the clutch, after you reassemble it and lock your steering over to the left the lever is oriented in a downhill position and Mr. Isaac Newton and his gravity take over and the lube starts heading for the ground. Don't worry...it will stop after you have wiped it off about 15 times...

Oh yeah....don't ask how I know this...

Thanks for the info. I&nbsp\\;figured it out. FYI, Mud dawbers.......... Got in the trans vent tube and clogged it up....
