We've got the ride set up to stay in Safford Saturday night, run the Coronado Trail on Sunday and stay in Show Low Sunday night, then go through the Salt River Canyon to Globe and back to the valley on Monday.
We're posting this early to allow people to schedule time off work and make hotel reservations.
We havefive rooms reserved in Safford and Show Low, three of which are already accounted for (Dean, Joe and Dave).
The other two rooms will be held for the first two people that PM me for the rooms. When those rooms are accounted for anyone else can PM me for information on the hotels we are planning to stay at to make their own reservations.
Ok, it was kind of confusing planning three rides at once. Now we can concentrate on this one.
 \\;
There will be a chase vehicle. So far, Dave, Dean, Zoli and I are going.
 \\;
Anyone else?
 \\;
There is one room reservation left to fill.
Still no problem - the more the merrier.
 \\;\\\\\\;
I just ran some temperature comparisons today at 3:00 pm for the places we will be going.
 \\;\\\\\\;
Phoenix=112
Safford=104, \\;\\\\\\;Saturday hotel stay after 140 mile ride.
Morenci=104, Sunday morning.
Alpine=84, Sunday afternoon.
Show Low=89, Sunday hotel stay after 216 mile ride.
Globe=100, Monday mid-day.
Phoenix=112, Monday after 150 mile ride.
 \\;\\\\\\;
We may want to determine our start / stop times on the trip by the comparison.
My suggestion is an early start time leaving Sat morning to avoid the heat getting out of town. We can meet at my place again. That will get us to Safford kind of early but I am OK with that if everyone else is. If we leave Show Low early to mid afternoon we \\;can plan to  \\;get back into town in the early evening when the sun setting. Just a suggestion, so let us know what you all think.

I was looking at things to do in or around Safford since we will be getting there pretty early in the day.
 \\;\\\\\\;
There is a scenic drive called the Swift Trail Parkway 7 miles south of Safford that goes up Mount Graham, about 33 miles each way, from an elevation of 3200 feet to over 10,000 feet with scenic views. Might be a good way to spend the afternoon there.
 \\;
Modified the ride plan to include the scenic route up Mt. Graham - lots of twisties. \\;Zoom in on stop #4.
