What wall-thickness is recomended?
How does one knurl the center?
Any other tips for bending customer bars?

You could build them with the risers built in therefore there would be no need for the knurls.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
.120 works well and is a little thick. There are many that are built out of .095 also.
