Default Rear Tire Removal?

How much trouble is it to remove the rear wheel from an '07 Road Glide? What is the best service manual H-D or Clymer? I have ordered a new rear tire and want to do the work myself but have never done it. I am planning on getting a lift and service manual but any advice would be great such as the best lift for the money etc.&nbsp\\; Thank's

Default RE: Rear Tire Removal?

I don't have a road glide, but do have an 03 Fat Boy and 02 Road King and wouldn't hesitate to replace either.&nbsp\\; Most people pay the dealer to remove/replace the wheels.&nbsp\\; You can pull just about any rear wheel in less than 30 mins and a front in 10.&nbsp\\; Just make sure you replace all bushings in the same order they were removed and don't forget to use anit-seaze on the axle bolt.

Get the Harley shop manual.&nbsp\\; More expensive than Clymer's but well worth it.&nbsp\\; Rear wheel removal is no problem, but its just about necessary&nbsp\\;to have a second pair of hands to hold the spacers in place while you're putting it back on.
