I need a new air cleaner for my bike I just got, it is currently missing some parts. What is a good one to get...and is there that much difference between a 90 evo engine and a 91 evo engine? I cannot find any air cleaners with brackets for the 90, the start at a 91 and up. help...

'90 thru '99 will work, but the backing plate of the 94 and later has larger mounting holes to the heads for the breather and will take a little engineering to make work.

Some models used a plate that the air cleaner bolts to, then the cover screws to the cleaner element.

Regardless, buy the cheapest one you can find, because you'll need a new element anyway and I don't care how sexy looking or fancy, you can't get any more air through the carb than a stock setup will allow.
