Default Fork Noise

I just bought a 2004 Wide Glide with 4753 miles on it. I just noticed a noise coming from the fork area whenever I ride over a bump in the road, it sounds like the fork is bottoming out, any ideas?

Default RE: Fork Noise

Check the fluid level in the forks. Better yet, change it completely.

I had the same kind of thing on my e-glide and it drove me nuts. Turns out the fluid level was low. Changed it out and it's been good since.

If forks OK, check steering head bearings loose. Do a search, lots of threads.
