Default play in front caliper

I have play in the front caliper. I took it off last night to see if I could figure out why. One of the pads, the inside one, was worn down to about .095 in. which is pretty well shot. the other was over .2 in. Could this be causing play in the caliper. I can hear it rattle on real bumpy rodes. &nbsp\\;

You might check the pistons and see if they move freely when the brake lever is pulled. Sometimes the break dust and road crud will build up on the pistons and bind them or limit their travel. You might try the cleaning procedure that Lyndall Racing Brakes shows on their web site, I will include a link.

Good luck with it.
