Default Tumbler

Have any of you used the tumbler/vibrating cleaning tool.&nbsp\\; I saw one at Harbor Freight and was wondering if they work.&nbsp\\; It's a plastic tub that you load with abrasive and it vibrates small parts clean.
Thanks,
RBW

It depends, what are you trying to do?

Works great for cleaning used brass before reloading it. Ground up corn cob (purchased prepared and cleaned) and a little polish. Very nice.

Cleaning fired brass cases is all I have ever used mine for, But I use crushed walnut shells in them.

I have a Midway vibrating tumbler and have run literaly thousands of rounds of brass through it! They are kind of noisy when running, but do a great job. I've used both crushed walnut hulls and corncob media and both work very well.

I am rebuilding a old Sportster and I want to clean nuts and bolts and small parts.&nbsp\\; Sandblasting those small parts is a drag.

I have the Lyman Twin Tumbler set. They do great job of cleaning fired primed brass. The brass comes out lookng new. I still use corn cob media, but have been thinking about walnut later. Probably get it in some pet shop.
