I am leaving next Thursday for a ride from Jackson, MI to Minneapolis, MN and plan on heading up 75 in MI and then across US 2 in the Upper Peninsula. I have never ridden through the UP and was wondering what I can expect riding across US 2? I'm planning on stopping in Escanaba on Thursday night and then finishing the ride on Friday morning. Are there any "must see" places? Thanks for any and all advice!
