Default 6MM allen bolt front fork issue

So I'm knee deep into another "Do it your selfer" project&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;on the street glide.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; My first time getting into the front end.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Anyway, I'm installing race tech springs and the emulator kit.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I start with the right fork (Facing the bike).&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I get the fork off, starting to break it down when I run into a small problem that I created last year.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I installed a FLUSH AXLE MOUNT!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Yeah...the flushed end on this fork is in there and she's not coming out with some damage.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The female part of the flush axle sticks 1/2 way in, preventing me from getting to the 6MM bolt I need to remove.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Is there a way to&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;break this fork down to&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;get to the damping rod?&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I think I already know the answer.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I tried pounding on the&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;flush mount&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;attempting to move it our&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;just enough to get my allen wrench in but it's not budging.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The way these mounts work is the knurls&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;literally cut into the fork.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I'm going to load it in the car tomorrow and go to a custom bike shop in my area to see if these guys have a trick or two to get her out.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
The good thing about this is. I found the issue on my time vs. the dealer.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I HATE when this happens!!!
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Here's a pic of what I'm faced with:

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Any thoughts on a fix?
Thank you in advance.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Phat

Thank you Fast..
&nbsp\\;
I actually stopped by a local bike shop on the way to work this am and that's exactly what we did.&nbsp\\; It took a lot to get it out which is a GOOD thing.&nbsp\\; Confirms that baby is in once it's in!!!&nbsp\\; Anyway, I'm good to continue now.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Phat...
&nbsp\\;
PS:&nbsp\\; I guess I will not be making it your way to get 'er done after all.&nbsp\\; I had the itch and just decided to scratch it.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Thanks for the reply..
