Speed Sensitive Electrical Problems
I have a 2000 Ultra Classic. \\; Over the weekend \\;I went on a long trip and about half way through the cruise control stopped working. \\; It would allow you to set the cruise, but then after a few miles it would disengage. \\; Then the Speed Sensitive Volume control on the stereo was also changing volumes for no apparant reason. \\; Lastly the self cancelling function for the turn signals stopped working. \\; I believe all of those devices relie on the speed sensor. \\; Could that be the cause? \\; Has anyone else experienced similar problem and if so how were they corrected? \\; I \\;don't mind \\;going to the dealer, but I want to ride this weekend and was hoping to fix it myself.

The only service I did before leaving on the trip was topping off the oil.
