Need to add more stops to my CA H-D dealer tour. Summer too hot in the Central Valley?

June is usually pretty mild weather, but it's friggin hot right now!&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Try to hit Highway 49 sometime, it's a great ride, not too twisty but very scenic.&nbsp\\; There is Jamestown HD and further up, Amador County HD, and others further north and west.

Yeah, I'm thinking I may save this 2 day'r for late fall.
Looks like I'll stay close to the coast this summer. Gotta feeling it's going to be an extra hot one!
rrsjs5: I'll look you up when the time comes but I got the 2nd round!

Drove up to Fresno on Saturday. Passed three dealers on the 99. It was averaging 95 degrees all the way there and back. I noticed a lot of bikers on the road but was glad to be in an air conditioned truck.

The 100 degree days are not so bad as long as you are moving. It is the 110 degree days come august that are the killer.
&nbsp\\;
September is usaually great weather. THe rains usually do not start until October when we do get rain.
&nbsp\\;
BTW there are 2 FD dealers in Fresno - Matthews is the cool old school dealer.

Not so much afraid of but rather just plain hate riding in weather over 90. Bring on the cold and at least I can layer up.
Believe me you don't want to see me nekkid on my scoot!
