Default RE: Ignition Timing

If you have a laptop and a set of cables for the SERT, just data log the bike for about 20 min on the street (assuming the bike is still street legal or the track if it really is a race bike) and look at the data to see whats going on.&nbsp\\; Remember to turn on o2 logging before you start logging.&nbsp\\; Figuring out whats going on in the midrange is normally fairly easy given you have the logs.

look underneath your engine and see if the jiffy stand pin is hitting your engine case bolt. You will be able to see the witness marks if this is true, and the cotter pin side should face to the rear of the motorcycle.

Make sure the floor board supports are tight. Any loose will vibrate.

Check your motor mounts too. That's the rpm range where you feel it if the front mount goes bad.
