Default CRAFTSMAN LIFT "QUICK DROP PROBLEM."

I have been using a Craftsman ATV lift for about 5 years and it works flawlessly.&nbsp\\; The only problem I have is lowering the bike.&nbsp\\; There is next to no control with the foot release pedal.&nbsp\\; You have to be VERRYYY careful when you drop the bike, as it will come down like a shot if you depress the drop pedal a split second too long.
&nbsp\\;
Anyone know of a fix for this, so the bike will drop slowly?

Replace it with a quality motorcycle jack, like the J&amp\\;S .

To make the Sears Red or even the Yellow jack safe would require reworking the hydraulics, and probably not cost effective.

Some have replaced the jack oil with 30 wt oil to slow down the release.
